Why the routine exists, where to start it, and how weekly and daily prep differ.
Daily Prep — the guided routine
Daily Prep is a guided, seven-step version of the top-down routine the AdexTrades methodology is built on: futures → indices → sectors → stocks, with the calendar checked first and the screener last. It's the assembly order for everything else in the app.
Why it exists
The most common thing a new member does is open the screener, find a setup, and take it — with nothing behind it. The scanner is a last step, not a first one. Daily Prep makes the order hard to skip and finishes with 2–4 candidates on your watchlist, each with a written reason.
Where to start it
- Dashboard — the Daily Prep card near the top.
- Market Briefing, Journal, Watchlist, Charts — a "Start Daily Prep" button in the page header.
It opens as an overlay on top of whatever page you're on. Each step links out to the tool that serves it and brings you back with a chip at the top of that page.
Weekly vs daily
The same routine has two framings, chosen automatically:
- Weekly Prep — Sundays, and Monday before the open. The screener step becomes your final ranked-watchlist pass for the week.
- Daily Prep — any other time. The screener step is a daily pass that feeds the weekly list.
Progress
Your run is saved by day. Leave halfway and the button reads Resume · n/7; finish and it turns into a green check you can reopen. It resets naturally the next trading day.
Turning it off
Once the routine is second nature you can hide the prompts: Settings → Display → Daily Prep. The dashboard card's ✕ hides it for today only.
Next: The seven steps.
