What the app is, how it fits the methodology, and where to start.
Welcome to the AdexTrades App
The app is the system behind the community — the tools we use every day to prepare, plan, execute, and review. Everything in it is built around one idea: process over profits. The app doesn't tell you what to trade. It makes it hard to skip the steps that matter.
How it fits together
Think of the app as three loops that feed each other:
- Prepare — Market Briefing, Market Calendar, Charts, Market Strength, and Pulse give you context before you look at a single stock.
- Plan and execute — the Watchlist holds your ideas, the Journal holds today's plan, and the Trade Log holds what you actually did. They're one connected record, not three separate lists.
- Review and improve — Analytics, Reports, and Sage turn your own history into feedback you can act on.
Sage, the AI coach, sits inside all three. It reads your journal, your trades, and the chart in front of you, and coaches the process — never the outcome.
Where to start
If you're new, do these in order:
- Run Daily Prep once. Open the Dashboard and start the guided prep. It walks the top-down routine step by step and ends with 2–4 candidates on your watchlist. See Daily Prep.
- Push one idea into a plan. From the Watchlist, send an idea to Today's Plan in the Journal. That's the sync graph in action. See Journal & Trade Log.
- Log one trade — paper is fine. When it closes, grade it and answer the four review questions. That's the loop.
- Ask Sage a question about your own trade. Not "what should I buy" — "what did I skip?" See Sage.
Reading these docs
- Getting Started covers access, first login, and how the app is laid out.
- Each product section explains what a tool is for, how to use it, and what its outputs mean.
- Intro Lessons are the first five lessons of the AdexTrades methodology, so the vocabulary used everywhere else makes sense.
- Changelog is every update, in order. If something looks different since you last logged in, check there first.
These docs describe what each tool shows and how to use it. They don't disclose how scores are computed, and nothing here is a buy or sell instruction. Everything is educational and observable — your read is the thesis.
