Intro Lessons

The foundation of the AdexTrades methodology, in the order we teach it.

The first five lessons

Everything in the app uses the same vocabulary. These five lessons are where it comes from. Read them in order; each one is short and each one ends with something you can do today.

  1. Lesson 1 — What a candle tells you — the 1, 2u, 2d, and 3.
  2. Lesson 2 — Timeframe continuity — why timeframes must agree.
  3. Lesson 3 — Top-down — futures, indices, sectors, then stocks.
  4. Lesson 4 — Reversals and continuations — the patterns and the broadening formation.
  5. Lesson 5 — Plan, trigger, target, invalidation — how a trade idea is written down and graded.

Provenance

The bar-type framework these lessons build on — TheStrat — was developed outside AdexTrades; Sage can tell you its origin if you ask. The AdexTrades methodology extends it with the top-down routine, timeframe sets, structure concepts, and the process loop the app is built around.

After these

The full curriculum is in University, the concept glossary is in Library, and the daily application is Daily Prep. Sage will check your bar labels and your continuity reads if you ask.
