What a watchlist idea holds, its lifecycle, and the card actions.
Watchlist — ideas with levels
A watchlist idea is a ticker plus a plan: direction, setups by timeframe, a trigger, a target ladder, an invalidation, and a thesis. If it doesn't have levels, it isn't an idea yet — it's a ticker.
The vocabulary
- Bullish trigger / bearish trigger — the level that puts the idea in play.
- Targets — T1, T2, T3… each with a label in your own words ("prior high", "gap fill").
- Invalidation — where the idea is wrong.
- Setups by timeframe — the pattern you're trading on each timeframe, tagged with the shared picker.
- Thesis — why. Optionally built as an if-then chain.
Organized by week
Ideas live on the week they were made. Tabs across the top move between weeks; ideas are ranked within a week and can be dragged to reorder. An older idea that's still valid can be moved to this week — it keeps a "carried from" note so you know its age.
Lifecycle
Watching → Triggered → (Passed). Mark triggered when the level hits, passed when the idea is off. Both are one tap on the card. Sage can flip them too when you tell it — after confirmation.
Card actions
Four always visible: Take This Trade (opens the trade form pre-filled), Push to Plan (into today's journal), Review with Sage, and the contextual status button. Under ⋯ More: view chart, move to this week, share as a Trigger Watch card, edit, delete.
What you'll also see on a card
- Live price and distance to trigger and targets.
- An ER badge when earnings are today or tomorrow.
- Attached charts, one large or up to four in a grid.
- Flow alerts for tickers on your watchlist arrive in the notification bell (and push, if enabled).
Two-sided ideas
One structure can go either way — an inside week that breaks up or down. See Two-sided ideas.
